Here are two sailing vessels designed around their pilothouses. Both are impressive and fascinating. 

PELAGIC AUSTRALIS

Skip Novak's exciting new expedition vessel.
Plans for 2005 include the West Coast of Greenland and an attempt at the Northwest Passage and maybe a delivery run from Alaska to southern South America. 2005/2006 voyages will include South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, Cape Horn and Tierra del Fuego. You may be surprised by her simplicity - with fewer gadgets there is less to go wrong and more opportunity for the passengers to become involved.
